Job Description:

Job Description Summary 
Coordinates Accounting office staff in the department day to day activities and maintains the general ledger system, providing all necessary financial statements and management reports. Maintains confidentiality of all related information and documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
·      Prepares all periodic financial statements and reports for internal and external requirements as 
·      Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
·      Assists with maintaining and balancing the general ledger and prepares daily journal entries as 
·      Assists Title 31 Compliance Officer with reporting requirements.
·      Audits and reconciles daily cage work from Cash Operations.
·      Maintains daily cash position.
·      Processes winner tax reporting and withholding requirements.
·      Administrates office petty cash.
·      Provides excellent guest service.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED. Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred. Must have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and be competent in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Should be familiar with Microsoft Excel. The ability to effectively supervise is necessary. Must be able to communicate in English.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
