Job Description:

Job Description Summary

Create, develops and maintains digital media brand through social media outlets. This position’s main objective is to participate in the creating and execution of social media campaigns to grow the company and brand’s audience and fan base. This position represent brand voice in social media blogs by creating and updating copy related to the business’s activities, promotions, events and shows.

Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)


  • Create, manage, and optimize contents for all social media platforms; develops and coordinates digital marketing and social media campaigns.

  • Interface with the marketing departments and web services to implement new digital media projects and multimedia initiatives; develop online/social media contents,

  • Administers social media programs including content calendar; creative, photo and video coordination; posting to social media sites; maximizing marketing opportunities on social media platforms for business development and sales conversions.

  • Responsible for daily community dialogue; social media community management, fan engagement, page and content, and general outreach.

  • Responsible for posting content (i.e. photos, comments, images, etc.) and day to day social media dialogue related to property’s programs, events and promotions

  • Monitors competitor social media programs; reports on findings and offers suggestions for improvement.

  • Analyzes and recommends new social media opportunities and stays up-to-date on the latest

  • Investigates and recommends mobile marketing applications, strategies, and tactics.

  • Interacts with social media audience through Facebook, twitter, mySpace, YouTube and property specific blogs.

  • Manages marketing aspects of website design, development, enhancements, maintenance, and search engine optimization for the casino, hotels, and restaurants, in conjunction with Information Technology and website vendors.

  • Develops search engine marketing and various electronic advertising programs with Advertising Manager (Advertising Manager of vendors?).

  • Develops and manages delivery of promotional communications for prospective clients. Collaborates with Promotions and Database Marketing Managers to design and implement electronic-based promotions and offers to existing customers.

  • Coordinates with hospitality sales and restaurant sales teams to develop social media programs and to deliver electronic offers to existing and prospective clients.

  • Manages and maintains relationships with co-branded website vendors, including Open Hospitality and Open Table.

  • Creates tracking and monitoring systems and coordinates with analysts to evaluate report and communicate results of social medial campaigns, ongoing programs, and new initiatives.

  • Complies with all applicable Tribal regulations, internal controls and policies and procedures.

  • Provides excellent customer service.


Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience


  • Must have experience in digital media, marketing, computer science, or a related field, and two (2) years digital media experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Software including: Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Flash Graphic design fundamentals as they relate to interactive media development and animation.

  • Knowledge of the processes of email marketing, social networking websites, interactive multimedia and website development and optimization. (but not limited to Facebook & Twitter only)

  • Must be able to demonstrate understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms, tools for optimization and industry trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines while paying attention to details.

  • Ability to work effectively under stressful situations and time constraints.

  • Must be comfortable working with a team and environment in a fast pace where change is a norm; and ability to prioritize & meet deadlines within specific time constraints

  • Must have the ability to work all or majority of casino properties’ and golf course’s sponsored events, promotions and/or any other brand sponsored activity and functions
