Manager, Table Games Shift

Job Description:

Job Description Summary
The Table Games Shift Manager is responsible for the daily operation and administration of Table Gaming areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Provides excellent guest service.
• Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, 
  but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer 
  Identification requirements
• Oversee operation of Table Games area.
• Monitors staff performance, ensuring adherence to casino policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Oversees and maintains integrity of Table Games activity.
• Ensures adherence to proper card inventory policies and procedures.
• Possesses good working knowledge and understanding of Table Games.
• Ensure application and/or compliance of Federal Currency Reporting requirements.
• Fosters and maintains positive staff/management and player relations.
• Assumes the responsibilities of the Director of Table Games in their absence.
• Maintains integrity of all casino promotions.

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Manages floor personnel who supervise the employees of the Agua Caliente 21 pit and Poker pit. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these areas.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees per approved casino policies; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED. 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in card room operations, to include but not limited to experience as a dealer, floor person, pit supervisor, shift manager trainee, and/or shift manager.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.   Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
