Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

 

Responsible for cultivating new golf memberships in accordance of the membership development strategy for the Indian Canyon Golf Resort along with selling new catering events toachieve new levels of revenue generation.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

 



  • Assist in the implementation of strategies to meet membership sales goals.


  • Maintain accurate membership files and administer monthly billing.


  • Responsible for maintaining all confidential membership information.


  • Develop and assign system account codes and stat codes.


  • Responsible for all membership and marketing monthly reports.


  • Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager with billing and accounting of golf tournaments and monthly invoices for tee time wholesalers.


  • Conduct all business as an ambassador for the Club and Tribe with integrity and in a professional manner.


  • Plan, budget and organize all Membership Social functions.


  • Aggressively sell new catering events to meet established goals


  • Will act as social coordinator/concierge for the existing membership and external cliental while planning and organizing social functions.


  • Write and plan catering event orders for all social/ corporate events while ensuring that the needs of the client are in keeping with the high standards of the golf resort.


  • Responsible for the organization and execution of all catering events in a professional and presentable manner including managing all catering staff.


  • Coordinate all details and menus for client functions and meetings.


  • Will be the primary liaison between the ICGR and the Guest.


  • Maintain the integrity of the ICGR when resolving catering concerns and requests.


  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction by constantly and consistently maintaining a high level of service and correct operation procedures.

Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 



  • Minimum 2 years of related college experience plus 2 years outside sales experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.


  • Must have good organizational skills, computer literate, the ability to work with all departments and have excellent guest relation skills.


  • 2 year minimum event and catering planning experience.


  • Ability to speak well in front of large crowds; excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure; detail oriented and organized; professional appearance.


  • Proficient in MS Office.


  • Knowledge of IBS software preferred, but not a requirement 



WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ miles, climbing , stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

 

Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and /or carry otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
