Consults with Banquet Manager/Banquet Captain/Catering Manager or Executive Chef, on such items as serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment needed. Report areas of concern to Banquet Manager. Requisitions all tables, table lien, china, glassware and silverware. Orders preparation of salads and Coffee. Must be able to follow directions as given by upper Management. Set up for functions, tables, chairs, linens, napkins and silverware. As directed, contact engineering for audio and video equipment. Be attentive to the needs of the guest. After function, clean room by removing all equipment, chairs, tables, etc., and putting in the proper area. Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving beverages to minors and intoxicated guest if needed to assist in functions.
High School Diploma/G.E.D. 6 months to 1 year banquet/ catering experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to lift/carry 65 lbs. Maintain a Riverside County Health card/certificate.
