Administrative Assistant - Tribal Realty

Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director of Tribal Real Estate provide a full range of substantive administrative processes

                                                        

Process a variety of real estate documents submitted by the public, escrow companies, attorneys and lenders

 

Assist with Property Management of Tribal Property

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Produce/edit a wide range of documents; working closely with escrow community and lenders

Analyze documents and title discrepancies

Verify ownership and establish chain of title

Data Entry

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in multiple computer programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent organizational ability and sensitivity with confidential information
  • Familiarity with modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment
  • Basic mathematical principles
  • Ability to meet schedules and timelines
  • Type a minimum of 55 wpm

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED; minimum two (2) years in related field.

Experience in Escrow or Title Field Required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Candidate must comply with all federal training requirements
  • Local travel between Tribal Realty Department and Bureau of Indian Affairs offices will be required
  • Extensive Federal background screening required
