Job Description Summary
Responsible for the overall security of the Agua Caliente Casino Resort, Criminal Investigations and Risk Management for the Casino/Hotel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
• Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including 
  but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer 
  Identification requirements.
• Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise Team Members of the Security Department.
• Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to Casino/Hotel policies and procedures.
• Oversees the scheduling of department Team Members.
• Ensures that all personnel are properly trained and maintain a high level of proficiency.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for the Security Department.
• Responsible for the training of all Casino/Hotel Team Members in Risk Management.
• Responsible for criminal investigations in the Hotel and Casino, which are not related to gaming 
  activities.
• Ensures that the Hotel and Casino meet all required OSHA safety standards.
• Responsible for safeguarding all Hotel and Casino assets.
• Reviews all Hotel and Casino security incident/crime reports.
• May perform functions of subordinate positions as required.
• Responsible for developing and implementing guest safety programs for VIP visits.
• Responsible for prohibiting unwanted guests in the Casino/Hotel and maintaining a data base file on 
  those persons.
• Ensures that all Casino/Hotel injured guests are properly taken care of and an investigation of the 
   incident is properly documented.
• Supervises the Security Investigators and ensures that all criminal investigations are complete and 
  properly documented.
• Responsibilities include proper testing, interviewing, hiring and training of Team Members; planning, 
  assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; 
  addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Authorized to address any individual not waring an approved ID badge in non-public areas, or other 
  persons in non-authorized areas. 


Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise Team Members in the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Security Department. Responsible for the overall directions, coordination and evaluation of this unit.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D.or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5 to 7 years Director experience in Security/Gaming Required. 

Must be able to communicate in English.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Must be able to work in a “lighting subdued” environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather.  
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
