Sr. Commissions Analyst

Description:

  • Collaborate & consult with business leaders, ICM developers, and other departments to ensure ICM system rules are aligned with the business intent. This includes understanding and interpreting compensation strategy, business rules, policies, sales compensation plans, contracts & legal documents, and other like documentation. This also includes to serve as project manager for audits relating to financial analysis & FINRA, data modeling, and other like projects.
  • Ensure commissions are accurately calculated for captive sales colleagues, brokers, and associations. This includes analyzing complex data & complex/critical system issues to maintain the integrity of the data and implement solutions via system configuration. Also responsible for analyzing & overseeing the processing of captive advance commissions, broker commission, and association fees in ICM to ensure timely & accurate payments according to contract terms and divisional compensation plans. 
  • Research and evaluate the business needs and system capabilities to create optimal solutions, maximize ICM functionality, and achieve business needs. This includes ensuring usability of rules, adapting processes where needed, and configuring system rules.  This also includes performing testing to optimize quality & value of ICM and ensuring health of the ICM as it relates to the technical set up, system configuration, and database programming. 

Compensation range: $69,264 - $102,932 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary company bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location. Remote (150 miles outside of OKC) candidates will be considered. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University with a preference in accounting/finance, human resources, business administration and/or technical area

Five to seven years experience in Commissions, Accounting, Compensation or a similar role analyzing and reconciling large sets of data.

Strong technical knowledge to include troubleshooting capabilities, and ability to assess and communicate technological needs.

Exceptional technical skills in Microsoft Products, specifically Excel and Access.

Experience with BI and reporting tools and ability to understand and research complex data flows.

Preferred experience with SPM and CRM systems.

Extensive knowledge of state licensing requirements including Producer Licensing Model Act (PLMA), corporate compensation policies, billing and import business practices, and new business and premium accounting procedures.

Knowledge of and ability to analyze and apply compensation compliance.

Knowledge of financial analysis, including data modeling, reporting, and auditing.

Ability to aggregate and analyze large and complex data sets.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills for monitoring commission data and resolving commission issues.

Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, determine appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems related to sales and commission data.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to look outside the box to see how items coordinate or link together.

Demonstrates ownership of projects and work product.
