*Solicit group proposals for American Fidelity Assurance (AFA) Company career sales staff through carriers when AFA is not competitive or does not want to underwrite the product. Products included are Group Dental, Vision, ER paid Disability (STD/LTD), employer paid and voluntary Group Life and AD&D, Gap plans and other insurance products as requested from field management.
*Answers questions from career account managers relating to proposals provided as well as respond to questions regarding product and procedures. Troubleshoot issues with field management and carriers as well as build new and existing relationships with carrier reps. Decision making skills concerning plan designs, product decisions related to commission, group enrollment methods in accordance with sales strategy.
*Actively involved with the renewal management process on the $36 million AP group block. This block generates gross revenue in excess of $4.5 Million annually to the Agency (as of 1/1/19). Manage the in-force renewal block of group product business by informing the account managers of renewal activity, suggesting alternatives if necessary, as well as requesting renewals and re-enrollment materials from the carriers to coordinate the most current information being delivered to the client and enrollees. Provide pre-enrollment coverage file and billing info to enrollment team for set up, provide post enrollment change file to carrier with elections.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-4 additional years of commensurate experience
  • 3-5 years experience - 3 years need to be job specific

  • Ability to communicate ideas and procedures to account managers and carriers
  • Proficiency with PC Windows-based software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficieny with AFenroll and SalesForce
