Print Production/Mail Services An.

Description:

Mail Services & EBS team 

* Operate industry standard high-speed digital printing equipment and pre-press software programs to effectively create high quality printed material per client request, maintain accurate online status of jobs working in/out of the print production process by performing daily assessments of the work on hand and updating the departmental online ordering system as appropriate, perform maintenance and moderate repairs to digital printing equipment, and assist in troubleshooting pressroom equipment software issues.

* Process printed materials using industry standard bindery equipment (digital and analog), coordinate deliveries using AFPress Bindery Fulfillment and Shipping procedures, maintain accurate online status of jobs working in/out of the bindery process by performing daily assessments of the work on hand and updating the deparmental online ordering system as appropriate, perform maintenance and moderate repairs to Finishing equipment and assist in troubleshooting bindery equipment software issues.

* Fulfill Home Office and Field requests for stockroom items and maintain accurate inventory levels in the departmental online Stockroom order submission and tracking software, sort, deliver, pickup and process incoming and interoffice mail, overnights, ground and freight, operate mail handling equipment for incoming mail, process outging mailings; seal, fold, stuff and affix proper postage on outgoing mail, accurately identifying PreSort and First Class pieces and efficiently prepare packages for mailing.

Requirements:

  • Good technical grasp and working knowledge of Pressroom, Bindery, and Mail Center equipment networking configurations to assist with production troubleshooting issues, proficient in usage of MicroSoft office tools and prepress software used in digital pressroom and mail center environments, proficient in usage across multiple computer application interfaces; Windows 10, Windows Server, and a basic navigational understanding of Unix/Linux desktop environments.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of incident reporting and change management processes.
  • Organized, accurate and detailed in work performance and habits
  • Ability to operate and perform maintenance and repairs to industry standard digital printing equipment; high-speed monochrome, color, large format, and envelope press equipment.
  • Ability to operate and perform maintenance and repairs to industry standard finishing equipment
  • Ability to operate and perform maintenance and repairs on folding and inserting equipment
  • Experience in developing and testing software on a Windows platform and adhering to a structured and documented methodology
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Experience with developing and implementing automated RPA processes as a certified developer.
  • Strong understanding of business processes
  • Good oral presentation skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience;
  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
  • Shift is Monday- Friday 2:30-10:30 p.m.
