Description:

• The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of all projects under their supervision. In working on large-sized technology-related projects which have high complexity and/or high business risk and in collaboration with the project team, perform the following: * Plan, implement and oversee the execution of all projects to which they are assigned to deliver intended business outcomes which add value to the business on time and within scope according to agreed to business priorities. * Facilitate appropriate tradeoffs with project sponsors, executives and teams to mitigate or address any project issues or risks related to scope, schedule, quality or resources throughout the lifecycle of a project while simultaneously identifying project resources needed throughout the project and working with resource owners to secure those resources.

• Lead project teams on FMS system and process improvement initiatives to ensure that organizational strategies and goals are realized through the effective use of technology, system development tools, LEAN facilitation and/or project management methodology

• Develop and maintain project execution plans for all aspects of a project with clearly defined objectives, task flows, project schedules and post implementation tracking and analysis as needed to assure timely and effective implementation. Prepare clear and concise updates to management and other stakeholders in a variety of media formats to communicate project status and to share information with Colleagues and Customers.

• Use advanced knowledge of the full spectrum of project management methodologies and work collaboratively to: * Drive tasks to completion and organize work to ensure project(s) and/or project phase(s) managed adhere to appropriate project management methodology and established Technology Standards. * Keep SDLC documents current and processes executed per the SDLC requirements. * Develop and maintain a project Business Case and conduct financial analyses as needed. * Lead elicitation, documentation and management of project requirements, risks, and issues. * Identify, document and track (both before and after project completion) project-specific Measures of Success, e.g., timely delivery, project benefits, operational metrics, etc. * Assemble and maintain clear, concise, and accurate project documentation. * Facilitate the transition of project deliverable(s) to relevant technical and operational support team(s). * Conduct post-project lessons learned analysis as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four year college or university.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience.
  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) required, AND/OR PMI Certified Agile Practitioner (PMI-ACP) required.
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience a plus.
  • Skilled with one or more Project Management Tools.
  • Skilled with one or more formal PPM tools, e.g., Planview, Primavera, Clarity, etc.
  • Highly skilled in MS Office 365 including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Skilled with MS SharePoint and Teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of PMI (PMBOK), Agile/Scrum, Agile/Kanban, Waterfall, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management methodology.
  • Strong knowledge in use of formal project System Development Lifecycles.
  • Exceptional group facilitation skills including ability to lead trade-off discussions around scope, schedule, resources and quality.
  • Very strong negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and listening which can be deployed successfully when addressing entry level Colleagues, management and senior executives.
