Chief Strategy Officer

AFA / CORP

Description:

  • Responsible for formalizing AF's strategic planning process. Leads the development of the strategy as well as communicating and translating it for colleagues across the organization. Assesses whether strategic initiatives, at all levels are in line with the company's standards and objectives (socializes AF's strategy with executives and key stakeholders). Validates that the day-to-day activities of the company support those initiatives.
  • Business Development - Analyzes the market to identify projects, ventures, potential targets and other partnership opportunities. Looks for revenue generating opportunities
  • Identify stategic risk and develop plans to reduce risk. Lead efforts to allow the company to mitigate risk such as regulatory or competitive risks through innovative business ideas and solutions.
  • Leads major strategic initiatives that across various disciplines in the organization
  • Leads company acquisition/divestiture strategy and execution

 

Requirements:

Must have successful track record in senior leadership within the insurance industry. This would include COO or CEO of a smaller insurance organization.
