Fixed Income Credit Analyst



• Conduct credit analysis on corporate and municipal fixed income securities. • Generate and present full credit research reports. • Evaluate industry trends and current fixed income market conditions. • Research analyze and monitor credit quality of new potential and existing corporate and municipal bonds in the investment portfolio to determine risk of repayment. Generate and present full credit research reports. Demonstrate expertise in analyzing competitive dynamics of industries covered.Develop views on risk/return views on portfolio companies, their competitors, securities and asset pools. • Generate and present full credit reasearch reports to credit committee. • Develop industry expertise and support portfolio managers with monitoring credits and investment ideas for industies covered. • Continually refine and improve credit analysis process to improve investment performance. Demonstrate expertise utilizing Bloomberg, Moody’s, CreditSights, PAM and FactSet.


• Bachelor’s Degree from Four-Year College or University Finance, Accounting or Economics area of study required. If no degree, must have experience. • 1-3 years’ experience. • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and quickly communicate ideas and recommendations verbally and in writing. • Excellent analytical/quantitative skills. • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • Strong Excel modeling skills, knowledge of Bloomberg, Factset, and PAM systems a plus. • Experience in fixed income research and bond selection. • Expected to pursue CFA and/or MBA designation.
