Dir. Leave Administration Services

AFA / CORP

Description:

**Open to remote with travel to corporate office OKC

Manages and facilitates the direction for AF's Paid/FMLA employer services including the service model and attainment of resources to develop the model and launch the service.

Oversee and administer employer leave requests and accommodation services requiring expertise in Paid/ Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans.

Responsible for integrating employer PFMLA/FMLA service data with other parts of the organization to build effectiveness and efficiency for employers and policyholders (Example: Claims, Enrollment, Product Development, Sales etc.)

Requirements:

5-10 years of FMLA administration management (including administration of public sector leaves)

Thorough knowledge and understanding of  Paid/ Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans.

Ability to manage diverse and concurrent projects, meet deadlines and set priorities and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employer groups, and business partners

Strong consultative approach with a demonstrated ability to develop successful business partner relationships at all levels

Strong oral and written communication skills including strong interpersonal skills (informing, consulting, collaborating, negotiating and persuading) and presentation skills

Proven leadership and organizational skills
