Analyst,Closing & Servicing Mgr

Description:

• Coordinate all aspects of the closing of new loans, and portfolio servicing activities of a $650MM loan portfolio, including additional funding’s, rollovers, and extensions of existing loans. • Directly supervise the daily activities and operations of the department’s loan closing and servicing departments and personnel, including review and approval of third-party reports and loan or collateral documentation. Assist the Vice President, Investments in strategic or operational initiatives relating to the closing and servicing functions for the group, including file management, software and systems, portfolio analysis, servicing contracts and relationships and all other duties relating to loan closing and servicing. Assist in other assignments as needed or assigned. • Supervises and Coordinates workload with team members and maintain funding schedule for new loans. Responsible for training new hires in the closing and servicing processes and for the professional development and on-going training of all members of the closing and servicing group. • Maintain and meet new industry standards and requirements and implement appropriate closing/servicing policy and procedure changes. • Responsible for the production and issuance of various portfolio reports, including valuation models, Risk-based capital calculations, and reports for company financial statements. • Interact with internal and external accounting and audit functions. Participate in industry events, seminars, webinars and conventions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with major in Business, Accounting, Finance or Real Estate. • Five years’ experience, with preference for experience in a mortgage, investment, commercial real estate, or accounting related position. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, PAM for Mortgages, Precision LM, Email, Internet Applications. • Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills. Experience leading a team of employees. • Ability to travel for work, to attend industry events and meet with loan servicers.
