Bachelor’s Degree From Four-Year College or University Coursework in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, and Actuarial Sciences area of study required 5 to 7 years experience Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) Expert PC skills, with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office product. Knowledge of insurance products and understanding of actuarial principles and standards. Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude. Strong oral and written communication skills Shows initiative, such as by addressing problems when needed Demonstrates ownership of projects and work product Has good planning and organizational skills, including management of multiple assignments Good judgment, problem-solving, analytical and interpretative skills Has strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints Indepth knowledge of insurance products with a comprehensive understanding of the actuarial aspects of pricing approaches and profitability maintenance.
