JOB DESCRIPTION:
Analyst, Software Developer:
* Define system requirements and perform design and analysis, for AFA under the direction of senior team members
* Develop, test, and assist in the implementation of programs according to specifications
* Perform routine maintenance and production support on applications.

Analyst, Software Developer Sr:
* Provide leadership and collaborate with other areas within the organization on software projects
* Responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, design, and technical configuration of software solutions.
* Research, assess, and recommend technology improvements and innovative solutions for the organization.

Analyst, Software Engineer:
* Provide leadership and mentoring and collaborate with other areas within the organization on software projects.
* Responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, design, secure development, testing, assisting with implementation, and technical configuration of software solutions.
* Research, assess, recommend, and implement software improvements and innovative solutions for the organization.

SKILLS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Analyst, Software Developer:
3-5 Years of Experience
Bachelor’s Degree From Four-Year College or University computer science, MIS, mathematics, engineering, physics or other science area of study or commensurate experience

• Demonstrated understanding of software development
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware , software, and development tools
• Experienced with software requirements, analysis, design, code, and test functions
• Intermediate written and oral communication skills
• Intermediate collaboration skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to a changing environment
• Skilled in organizationally accepted programming languages (e.g., C#, VB, PHP, COBOL, Natural, HTML, XML, CSS, C, C++, ASP)
• Commitment to meeting organizational and departmental goals and objectives
• Understanding of organizationally approved project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)

One or more of the following or management approved equivalent technical certifications and FLMI certification is recommended but not required:
Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) – recommended but not required
IEEE Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) – recommended but not required
LOMA Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) – recommended but not required
Mobile Development - Java, C#, HTML5, MVC

Analyst, Software Developer Sr:
5-7 Years of Experience
Bachelor’s Degree From Four-Year College or University computer science, MIS, mathematics, engineering, physics or other science area of study or commensurate experience

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analysis, design, and problem resolution skills
• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope
• Significant knowledge of the software development process
• Possesses well-developed motivational, professional, and leadership qualities
• Knowledge of object oriented design and testing patterns
• Strong in organizationally accepted programming languages (e.g., C#, VB, PHP, COBOL, Natural, HTML, XML, CSS, C, C++, ASP)
• Positive attitude with the ability to work in ever changing environment
• Understanding of organizationally approved project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)
• Proven to meeting organizational and departmental goals and objectives

• Demonstrated expert skill in organizationally accepted programming languages (e.g., C#, VB, PHP, COBOL, Natural, HTML, XML, CSS, C, C++, ASP)
• Exemplifies well-developed motivational, professional, and leadership qualities
