Description:

• Coding and/or creating website’s using industry standard coding languages and techniques. Determining all coding requirements for site creation including: e-commerce capability, multimedia, plug-in technologies, forms and specialized scripts. • Develop, test, and assist in the implementation of programs according to specifications for website applications and other business applications. • Provide support of ongoing maintenance of existing websites, web applications and other business applications. Primary duties: Responsible for coding and/or creating website’s using industry standard coding languages and techniques. Determining all coding requirements for site creation including: e-commerce capability, multimedia, plug-in technologies, forms and specialized scripts. Coding and/or creating website using industry standard coding languages and techniques. Work with Marketing Team members to conceptualize website design and layout. Reviewing design and programming and adjusting to meet desired functionality of websites. Provide support of ongoing maintenance of existing websites and other web-based content. Creating specialized scripts as needed for front-end website interactivity. Assist with other departmental application development projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree From Four-Year College or University computer science, MIS, mathematics, engineering, physics or other science area of study or commensurate work experience. Commensurate experience is acceptable in lieu of specific education requirement, Equivalent Work Experience. 3 to 5 years of prior work experience in related field. • Demonstrated understanding of software development • Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware , software, and development tools • Experienced with software requirements, analysis, design, code, and test functions • Intermediate written and oral communication skills • Intermediate collaboration skills • Ability to learn and adapt to a changing environment • Experience working with SQL Server Databases, SQL Querying • Experienced in developing websites and web applications, including creating specialized scripts for website interactivity. • Skilled in organizationally accepted programming languages (e.g., SQL, C#, VB, PHP, , Natural, HTML, XML, CSS, C, C++, ASP) • Commitment to meeting organizational and departmental goals and objectives • Understanding of organizationally approved project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND EXAMS: One or more of the following or equivalent technical certification and FLMI certification is recommended but not required: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) – recommended but not required IEEE Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA) – recommended but not required LOMA Associate, Life Management Institute (FLMI) – recommended but not required Preferred experience: • Website design experience • Experience working with SQL Server Databases, SQL Querying
